Monitoring/ Auditing Criteria: to assess guideline implementation or adherence to recommendations. This is accomplished if the quality of life of children with AOM is improved with no increase in rate of complications.

Clinicians should be able to:

· Acquire a full history from the patient

· Do audiogram examination

· Exclude other causes of tinnitus

· Is the tinnitus unilateral or bilateral

· Is the tinnitus bothering or not

· Discuss the possible management plans
