Part Three

- Transfer of the patient in case of death and the medicines in the operating unit

Transfer the patient in case of death from the operating unit

Procedure:

1.    The surgeon or anesthesiologist writes a report on the cause of death in the patient's file.

2.    Lift the airway if available and do not leave any other pipes, including the analyzer and Drang.

3.    Put cotton swabs on any existing wound or places with secretions.

(Because none of the tests come out of the body to leave it to the pathological laboratory)

4.    He takes off all the clothes and puts the body in the proper position on the back .

5.    The eyes and mouth are closed and tied with a gauze bandage around the chin for the head.

(Do not leave open to preserve the shape of the face)

6.    Cleans the body of the deceased from any secretions .

7.    The body is placed on top of the gauze sheet with a spare piece of cotton placed under the anus in the genital area.

8.    A wide spare is placed in case of discharge from the anus.

9.    Spread the arms next to the body.

10.  The heels for the feet are tied with a gauze bandage and covered .

11.  The body is covered after completion .

12.   After folding the sheet from the middle, it is fastened with an adhesive tape with the data of the deceased, including the time of death .

 (To identify the body )

13.    He orders the morgue trolley.

14.   The body is sent to the morgue with the position of fixing the head and covering the body with an external sheet.

(Two hours after the death).

Medications in the operating unit

Isopten

Scientific name: (verapamil ) Verapamil

Classification of the drug: calcium channel blockers

Category: cardiovascular diseases

It is considered one of the drugs that act on calcium channels in the myocardium and blood vessels so that it reduces the flow of calcium, and also slows down the conduction that is carried out through the atrioventricular node, and thus lowers the heart rate and reduces vascular resistance to blood flow . So that it reduces the pumping power of the heart and relaxes the blood vessels and is used in cases of high blood pressure, angina and arrhythmias .

Common symptoms:-

Constipation, gingival hyperplasia (gingival hyperplasia), fluid accumulation in the extremities, lung slip, rash, headache, fatigue, dizziness, nausea.

Rare symptoms may occur: including fluid accumulation in the lung, low blood pressure, hair loss, chest pain, poor digestion, muscle spasm, rash, elevated liver enzymes, the development or deterioration of heart failure.

Noradrenaline works by stimulating receptors that are found throughout the body. When injected into a vein. Noradrenaline is used to restore blood pressure to normal in emergency situations when blood pressure has dropped alarmingly.
