Part Three

- Radiology in the operating theater

The tools he needs :-

Protective bibs for the team working in the operating room, the sterile nurse who handles the surgeon must also wear a protective bib as well as the rest of the sterile team .

A protective apron should be worn by radiologists and is extremely important .

A radiograph unit is a mobile unit of a television set in which the image of the radiographed part appears .

It depends on the type of rays taken and photographed .

Radiology in the operating room

Steps:

1.  People sterilized for surgery should wear a radiation protective apron (in order to prevent contamination of the hands after disinfection and arms ).

2.  The sterile Gauntlet , the gauntlet, all according to the steps .

3.  A protective apron should be available in the operating room for people assisting in the operation (because excessive radiation exposure leads to the health of people working in the hospital, which is fatal and deforms fetuses for pregnant women).

4.  If there are no other Rays to be photographed in the operating room, the mobile radiology device should be returned to its storage or radiation unit, as well as the protective covers used.

5.  The radiology unit has to be known and let people know it's going to be within six operations so they can take precautions.

6.  Emphasize the technician to ensure his presence first and the availability of the required supplies.

7.  Ensure that the necessary supplies are available to perform the radiology work efficiently.

Wearing medical Gaon

Required requirements :

Sterile Gaon / sterile towel .

Steps:

1.    After washing hands, enter the operating room :

A-take a sterile towel. (To prevent the ends of the towel from touching non-sterile objects ).

B-take steps away from the trapeze and extend the arms holding the towel away from the body .

2.    Start hand-drying by pressing the pad against the skin

3.    Hands and forearms should be carefully dried before wearing a sterile Apron. (Water in wet skin will contaminate the sterile robe).

A- start with one of the ends of the sterile towel and use it for one of the hands and forearms

B- use the reverse end of the pad for the other hand and forearm

C- be careful to contaminate the towel .

D- blot up from the hand to the elbow .

E- do not go back from the back to the front, i.e. from the elbow to the hand. (Water in wet skin will contaminate the sterile garment).

4.    Take the Gaon with steps back from the trapeze.

A- stretch your forearms and hold the apron away from the body and carefully look for the neckband .

B- hold the Gaon at the neck of the other.

5.    Look for sleeve openings without touching the garment from the outside or the inside at the same time .

- Do not put the whole hands in the sleeve .

6.    The nursing handler should turn to the wearer of the Gaon from behind .

* Access to the inside of the Gaon from the shoulders to pull the robe over the shoulders .

* But the hands are covered with sleeves.

ยท All Gaon ligaments bind without touching the Gaon and holding a small part of the ligament .

 Wearing sterile gloves

Required requirements :-

A suitable glove.

Steps: :-

1) the sleeves of the sterile Apron should completely cover the hands and fingers.

2) open the glove bag with the covered hand .

4) Place the sole of the palm of the glove along the right forearm so that the thumb and fingers are towards the elbow.

5) pull the back of the glove bracelet with the left hand and place it on the right end of the sleeve so that your hand is attracted enough to hold the finger-covered sleeves.

6) stop when screwing.

7) tighten the bracelet of the right glove with the left hand with the sleeves under it and then tighten them together. (Insert your fingers into the fingers of the glove at the same time that the glove covers the fingers visible from the sleeves of the apron).

9) use the right hand covered with the glove to pick up the left hand glove and the same steps are made.

10) the sterilized person should make sure that the hands are above the level of the character when wearing the apron and glove.

Wearing a surgical Gaon by nursing

Required requirements :-

Sterile towel / sterile Gaon .

Steps:

1.    Sterile nursing opens the sterile pad and places half of it on the clean surgeon's hand ( to prevent sterile fabrics from contamination ).

- Taking into account that the surgeon is not touched, because he is wearing a sterile Joan and joanty .

B- unscrew the jaw from the fold .

C- the outer side of the jaw is facing the nursing and the inner side is facing the surgeon.

 4.    The nurse should put his hands on the outer shoulder area of the bib so that the back end of the bib is on the glove of her hands ( this prevents contamination of the sterile nursing glove in case the doctor touches it to prevent contamination)

5.    The doctor inserts his hands into the sleeves of the sterile apron and tightens enough so that the sleeves cover his arms .

6.    Handling nursing approaches towards the doctor from behind the sterile Apron attracts from the area of the inner shoulders.

7.    Nursing handling ties the back ligaments of the sterile bib .

Putting the Guante to the surgeon

Equipment needed :

Joanie is the exact size of the surgeon .

Steps:

1.    Following the operations: :

- The right Guante is given first to those who use their right hand, and the left Guante to those who use their left hand.

2.    Sterile nursing takes guantian :

A- the thumb should be under the hole or elongated to the side.

B - the palm and thumb of the jawanti must face the surgeon.

3.    The sterile Nurse pulls the guanthe upwards when the surgeon enters his hand so that it covers the sleeve of the sterile surgeon's robe.

4.    Follow the same method for the other two sides and the surgeon can help sterile nursing.

- The thumb of the hand with the guanty enters under the opening of the other guanty, while the sterile nurse tightens the hole.
